Vintage 1950s Black And White Stripe Double Breasted Skirt Suit 2 Pc Set

  

Amazing 1950's skirt suit in an interesting black fabric. It's almost like a soft light weight taffeta, with a waffle like texture. The jacket is beautifully structured with shoulder pads and a flared peplum. The collar and cuffs of the jacket are a black and white seersucker stripe. The sleeves are 3/4 length with pointed cuffs, the front is double breasted with awesome original big striped buttons.

The skirt closes with a side metal zipper and button. A little wear to some areas of the fabric's texture such as the armpits and a few spots of the skirt.

Waist- 24 but the button could be moved about a 1/2-1 inch.
