Vintage Black & White Pinstripe Double Breast Suit Size 51, MAFIA Gangster style

  

Classic vintage men's 2 piece suit in a very black with white pinstripes fabric. It has no tags stating what the fabric is so I don't know for sure what it's made of. It does not feel like wool or a natural fiber but it does feel like a very high quality suit. It does NOT feel like a costume at all. It was from a wardrobe dept.

For films in Los Angeles & was used only 1 time then it was stored away in a box for years, so the pants have a few wrinkles but otherwise it's in amazing condition. It was made in the USA aprox 1970's - 1980's. Fabric is not heavy or light weight... The wide lapels are a very 1940's style. Probably made of a man made fabric or a blend.

I assume this was a custom suit because there are no union or size tags either. I showed in photos all tags it has, just the 2.

PLEASE COMPARE THESE MEASUREMENTS TO CLOTHES YOU HAVE NOW. Worn 1 time then stored. The only wear is just from storage & age.

CHEST: 50"/51" - Fabric measures 25.5" across when flat LENGTH: 31.5" SHOULDERS: 21 - Seam to Seam. SLEEVES: 26" plus 2" cuff - From shoulder seam. WAIST: 40" - Fabric measures 20" across when flat. INSEAM: 31.5" - plus 2" on cuff. LENGTH: 42" - plus 2" on cuff. So please don't worry. I'm always happy to help. I do not work weekends especially Sunday. If you need by a certain date let me know. TIP: It's best to lay a clothing item you have now, that fits, down flat & measure across then compare inches to be sure it will fit. You need to be a bit smaller than the fabric to be comfortable. Please note my items have no bad odors but I use a natural potpourri of cedar, lavender etc to repel moths.

Sensitive people might be able to smell this. I do not have pet hair anywhere near my items & there's no smoking here at all. I attach my own stock tags to all of my items that are right in front.
